Nature réserves and beauty spots along the Opal Coast and inland
The coast :
Make the most of the long stretch of sandy beach in Calais for a family stroll along the seafront, a swim in the sea with friends or by contemplating a romantic sunset - all of which can be enjoyed at less than 100 metres from the Centre Européen de Séjour!
A bit further along the Opal Coast, don't miss the 2 Caps' site (Cap Blanc Nez and Cap Gris Nez), with spectacular views from the clifftops and a breath of invigorating sea air.
Explore the countryside inland. Try a boat ride in the Audomarois wetlands (160 kilometers of rivers and streams surrounding the town of St Omer), or a ramble in the Guînes woods, or a bicycle ride along country lanes and tracks.
