Our Visitors' Centre
The Centre Européen de Séjour (European Visitors' Centre), a youth hostel, has been open to individuals and groups of all ages and all nationalities since 1993.
Ideally situated at a stone's throw from the seafront and a few minutes away from the Town Centre, it is a warm and friendly place, designed for meeting and chatting to others.
We have been accommodating individuals, families, school groups, sports teams, training courses and seminars for over 20 years now, and envisage continuing for many more!
We have 162 beds available, in 84 bedrooms, 8 of these with wheelchair access. Sheets and blankets are provided. There is a shared bathroom for every 2 bedrooms.
The communal area on the ground floor has a billiard table, table football and a bar. There is also a residents' library and a TV room.
The Centre Européen de Séjour is a non profit-making voluntary organisation which aims to make tourism available to all. Our main objective is to enable everyone to go on holiday, to find board and lodging at reasonable prices, and enjoy exploring the beautiful surrounding areas.
Our establishment is part of "Ethic Etapes", a network of accommodation centres/youth hostels which care about the quality of service and comfort offered to each of its guests. All the centres belonging to this network have committed themselves to observing a Quality Charter, which guarantees a level of service worthy of our visitors' expectations.
We also act in support of sustainable development, both by integrating an ecological approach to daily tasks and by making our guests aware of the importance of this approach. Our mascot, Rhéa, helps pass the message on!
